*ahem* Just because it seemed like there should be a thread focused around, yunno, the actual comic, lol. Though logic isn't exactly my area of expertise, so correct me if I'm wrong.
So. Whaddya think of the comic so far? Eh? Eh??
Comments? Concerns? Suggestions? Blackmail?
And don't worry, we'll be sure to keep Kuroi on his lease.

I actually really enjoy it so far, and I'm excited to see what happens later. The art and colors are amazing. I'm beginning to suspect if Mav even did any of this...hmm...Well, anyway, I think this will be a good turnout. I've no blackmail yet.

The art's pretty and all, but the characters seem... way older than they actually are (which makes a lot of their dialogue seem really strange, I mean, why are they saying things like "frig" out of the blue? Maybe it's just cuz I hate talking like that and thus my internal narrator has trouble saying them). AND EVERYONE'S HEAD IS SO POINTY. But hey, better than I could do, so it's not like I'm complaining.

lol Thank you, eezme, though I assure you they are mine (prrrecious -__^). No blackmail yet? I'm almost disappointed... As for you, skottyd, you've actually touched upon something that has been nagging at me for a bit now. The whole age thing. Meh. Still working on that, I admit. Problem is, before Crossover High, nearly all of my art was focused around my novels, or on other comics centered around more "mature" characters. And, this may come out weird, but from a purely artistic perspective, I am fascinated most with drawing the human figure, so that is why the musculature may seem a little, ehh, exaggerated... Keep in mind, also, that the first 13 pages were drawn in a mad rush during winter break (for reasons that allude me still) and that after I slowed down the pace a bit, the art made a gradual progression as I settled into a style of my own. Meaning: the art will get better/more consistent (hopefully) as we go. And if you think their heads are "pointy", then you haven't stumbled across much anime recently, have you? lol As for language, Mav's "internal narrator" tends to cuss like a sailor when he's startled/upset, so he's just toning it down for the kiddies. Uhhhh, sorry, guys, didn't mean to rant! Thank you for the comments! I really do appreciate the honest artistic criticism! ^__^ Any other comments? ;D

Perhaps that whole age issue thing is actually a representation of an internal issue within the creators. J/k P.S. Mavie, you meant leash...unless you did mean lease, which I wouldn't understand why anyone would want to rent him? (Besides Kaldea perhaps?) P.P.S. Anything is better than what skottyd have done or ever could do.

Sorry, the leash doesn't hold too well . Anyways, I just want to put my 2 cents in on this. The dialogue is almost word for word from conversations we've had during our meeting, so the way they talk is pretty close to their ages. Just my opinion. Art wise, yes they do look a lil older than they should, but as Mav said, it does get much better.

Okay, I made a typo. Sue me. Though maybe we should start leasing out the wolf-demon to anyone who wants a pet, since I could use the cash... Any offers? ;D But, um, yeah... ditto Kuroi's post -nod nod-

Okay, okay, I get it, I'm really not trying to be harsh here, but if you're so fascinated with the human figure why are you trying to draw animoo? There are so many distortions to the human figure that it's just.. ridiculous. And not all anime is pointy. But yea, I mean, I'm not worried about the cussing, it just felt awkward, but hey! I am not you or your friends and if that's what you said, that's what you said. It was perfectly normal for you. It just takes some getting used to. All in all, I like how it's gotten started, I like where it's going, and I'd like to see more. That's what I SHOULD have said.

Scot, you can definitely get over it. Anyway, although the "frig" thing did sound a little weird, it's totally okay as long as you go by your instincts...and this applies to both the writing and the drawing. And ya know, maybe "frig" doesn't sound as awkward somewhere...outside of RI. Either way, it doesn't matter. Keep up the good work! *thumb(s) up*

Ehhh, sorry Scot, I didn't mean to put you on the defensive. I actually really appreciated your comments, but I just felt the need to explain why things were as they were.
(...just as I feel the need to add that I do not watch anime, nor do I *draw* anime. My style is my own. As for why I'm drawing comics, it combines the two things I love most: art and story-telling. And in case you haven't noticed, lol, knowledge of the human figure is integral to drawing comic books. And I think "exaggerated" is a better term than distorted. But that's just me. *cough*)
But all that aside! I enjoyed your comments because they made me think, so thanks for posting and I hope you continue to give similar feedback! ^__^ I'm glad you enjoy CH so far and hope you'll continue to do so!

That was the longest cough I've ever read... ....don't make me take the leash back out on your fuzzy arse, wolfy. -__^ And, technically, you're older than I am, unless you mean mentally, in which case it's more/less a toss up. Ooo! Shiny!!
